HAPPY NEW YEAR!
So if you know me at all you know I love to travel & that it is quite hard to keep me in one place for long without the traveling bug to bite. I always have a trip in mind! But, I will say the last few days have been nuts even for me!
I've spent the last three mornings of my life catching red eye flights because it worked out last minute for me to go to Oklahoma for a wedding.
Hold on, trays table & seats up, belts buckled...

Friday 6:30AM: Charlotte to Memphis to Oklahoma City
Saturday morning 5:35AM: Oklahoma City to Atlanta to Charlotte
Sunday 6:00AM: Charlotte to NYC
Why would I do such madness, you ask?
I had the great privilege of celebrating Lisa and Clint Eubanks's wedding as we rang in the New Year together.
*Lisa & I at my bday in 2009
Lisa is a sweet friend...a kindred spirit the Lord provided for me when I first moved to New York.
*Outside Jean Georges (yum) in front of Central Park: Lisa's bday 2 years ago
She's shared sweet verses with me like Psalm 112 during some difficult moments. She's loved me well and stayed up after all night nursing shifts to meet me at Aroma for coffee. She's laughed, cried and prayed for me over the last several years.

*Beautiful bride Lisa & I at the reception. Sorry for the blurry mobile pic.
Fun memory: The New York crowd took a pic together on the dance floor and they played "Empire State of Mind" and the dance party started! So fun!
"These streets will make you feel brand new, the lights will inspire you, Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York."
So happy for Clint and Lisa's journey and marriage but super sad to "let" her move to Boston! YOU MUST COME BACK! I love you, lady!
PS I forgot my camera...bummer....so the pic from the wedding is from my phone. Click here to see these pics from Lisa's photographer...so beautiful!
PPS Check it...they had a Kristy Kreme donut tower at the reception....YUM!
