Manhattan through Spiritual, Southern, Single eyes

Quote

O make me Thine forever;
And, should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
Out live my love to Thee.

New York Moment

Today a friend told me that he had to move his car due to the *alternate-side parking schedule. He said as he waited in his car for the street cleaner to come he started to feel a little hungry...so he called Columbus Gourmet that is one block away. He said they didn't blink an eye when asked for his breakfast and coffee be delivered to his words, "The Black Jeep outside Dallas BBQ."

You gotta love NY.

*For my non-NY friends: Alternate side parking is a traffic law that dictates on which side of a street cars can be parallel parked on a given day. The law is intended to ensure the most efficient flow of traffic, as well as allowing street sweepers and snowplows to reach the curb without parked cars impeding their progress.
