O make me Thine forever;
And, should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
Out live my love to Thee.

Mr. Tax Man...back away from the diet coke....

I just saw a commercial in support for taxing soft drinks here in New York. Seriously....I'm an avid diet coke and diet dr. pepper drinker. Don't punish me for the lack of parenting in our country. If this tax is supposed to protect children, tax Kool Aid not my soft drink. That's all I've got to say about that.

Kent, the Chairman of Coke, said it well,

“I have never seen it work where a government tells people what to eat and what to drink,” Kent said today, responding to an audience question at the Rotary Club of Atlanta. “If it worked, the Soviet Union would still be around."

What do you think?

I'm with you friend. I don't mind folks taxing the crap out of tobacco because that one's just really obvious, but taxing people as a way to manipulate self-control is ridiculous.
