Manhattan through Spiritual, Southern, Single eyes

Quote

O make me Thine forever;
And, should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
Out live my love to Thee.

Duke's

So I’ve lived in Manhattan for 2 years this month. I have tried (and cried…well no actual tears just yet) to be okay eating those fake mayonnaises like Miracle Whip or Hellman’s. But, Manhannite Southerners…all together now: “It isn’t MAYONNAISE unless it is DUKE’S!”

I found it tonight as I prayed my way through FAIRWAY on 74th & bway.

There may or may not have been a tear on aisle 8 tonight :). Now to make homemade chicken salad!

Isn't it amazing that the littlest things can get us so excited. I am from the South, so the right mayo is a MUST!! My mom used to make it - nothing, even Dukes compares to hers. I'll bet that chicken salad was the best!!! You go girl!
