I love this campaign.
I think that this day has affected the whole world. Living in New York for the last few years has made this day very tender in my heart. Randomly I'll be walking through this town of mine and think, "What would it be like if that building were to fall right now?" A month ago I stayed at a friend's place where I could see the Freedom Tower is being built. I thought of the towers falling a lot that week.
I will
- Mail a card to my dad (who recently had a close friend pass away) to thank him for his unconditional love
- Call my parents to them I love them
- Pray for families who are hurting today
- Pray for my community groups starting tonight
- Cry
- Thank a police officer and fire fighter
- Not take my freedom for granted
- Tell Corey how special he is
- Think about sitting in my chair in my Moore Hall office at UNC Charlotte with Dana Harkness and Chad Kee and hearing this news
- Post this to encourage my friends to pick something special to do this week
