So I just had a very odd NY moment.
My good friend Neil hasn't owned a car so I was explaining to him that to keep your car in optimum condition you had to maintenance it periodically. Changing the oil, checking the tires, etc.
It was a VERY VERY weird moment for me when I could not for the life of me remember how often one should have their oil changed. I said, "It is something like every 30,000 miles or something." That didn't sound right but I haven't had to think about oil changes for 3 years. Amazing that I've forgotten something that was just so routine in my life before NYC.
For all you walking, subway taking New Yorkers, an oil change is actually needed something a little closer to 3000-5000 miles...not 30,000.
Such a crazy moment for me to realize how much this city has gotten in me.
