Quote

O make me Thine forever;
And, should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
Out live my love to Thee.

Lessons from little ones

I learned a little life lesson tonight while babysitting my little friend, Lennon.

For his bedtime story we were reading a children's book called, "Civil War on Sunday," by Mary Pope Osborne.

One of the chapters was about children pretending to be nurses during the civil war. The advice given to these little helping hands went something like this:

Be cheerful.
Lessen sorrow & give hope.
Be brave.
Put aside your own feelings.
Don't give up.

Not easy things to live out but I do want to consider each of them for my own life!
