If you knew my Nanny (my mom's mom) then you probably have a lot to say. To say the least she had opinions :). A LOT of them. I don't take after her at all, now do I?

She loved turquoise jewelry, musk perfume, and my Papal so much! She cooked amazing meat loaf, squash casserole, biscuits & gravy and loved you by giving you more food than any one person would ever need. Their house was always stocked with moon pies and mountain dew. She was so short she had to drive with her big toe to reach the pedal. I sure miss her. She could hear a song once and play it on the piano. She and my papal would play, "If God doesn't live in Colorado, I guess that's where He spends most of His time."
As a little girl I always thought my Nanny would play the piano at my wedding. Little girl dreams that I never could have considered to be impossible.

She would give my brothers and I lots and lots wet kisses. She would start sitting out in the sun to get tan in like February. She loved my Papal since she was 8 years old and he was 11.
She went to be with Jesus on March 28, 2003.
Sure miss you, Nanny. You mean so much to me...and pretty much I am a lot like you...opinions and all.
