Quote

O make me Thine forever;
And, should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never
Out live my love to Thee.

Mamaw A.

I sure love Mamaw A. She taught me so much. She could feed a house of people and made it seem effortless. She loved her family endlessly and worked incredibly hard. She loved Paw Gene so much. I remember as a little girl seeing them sitting on the couch holding hands. I knew that was unique and special even then and hoped I'd know that kind of love one day.

What an example they have been in my life in the way they loved one another and in how they loved the Lord. They raised a Christian family that loves one another and those around us. I can't believe she has been gone since March 14, 2003. Makes me deeply sad that my children will only know her from stories that I tell them. My cousins and I are incredibly blessed to have had a grandmother like her.

This is Christmas card is from Paw Gene to Mamaw.
We love and miss you, Mamaw!!
