Out live my love to Thee.

Spring Day in the Park

Today we had absolutely perfect weather in the most incredible city in the world. Here are just a few snapshots of my amazingly charmed life.

I started my day with keeping the Taylor girls. What fun those cuties are!

I then went on a run I've planned for a long time but have not been able to complete it until today.

I finally ran the entire loop of Central Park today!! YIPPEE!!

After my run I felt on cloud nine and was so glad I pushed to the very end because I finished at one of my favorite spots, "The Hill." Around this time of year "That Guitar Guy" comes out to play. He is a singer/song writer that I just love. He draws a crowd every time.

His name is David Ippolito and I love how he drifts into the city as the cold finally drifts away. He is a staple of the park this time of year. He has some very moving songs as well as some funny ones like, "Tom Cruise scares me." Which most of you know how much I've loved Tom all my life...well before the crazy years...but even I can laugh at this song! He took his tips and bought the crowd Gray's Papaya hot dogs. Who does that?

Throughout my run and time in the park today I saw 8 weddings. I absolutely love seeing brides getting their pictures taken in the park.

I just cannot express how perfect the weather was today and how awesome for a wedding. So...something really special happened while listening to David play.

A couple had exchanged vows at the gazebo just by where he plays and were walking by. He had the whole crowd sing, "Can't Help Falling in love with You," as they danced their first dance together as husband and wife. I'll never forget this day!

After resting for a bit I met up with some friends to finish off this spring day in the park by grabbing take out and picnicing together and catching up. I'm incredibly blessed.

what an amazing day you had. I had trouble walking around there last weekend because I was so busy people watching. It was great being with you and Kristen - I had so much fun spending the weekend with Bethany and seeing more of her life there.
